Daniel Urmson - Director

 

Daniel is Qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years' experience in practice and industry.

 

After qualifying with EY, Daniel spent 3 years as a management accountant in the construction industry before being appointed Group Financial Controller of Public Recruitment Group, a Private Equity backed multi-sector recruitment business.

 

Appointed as CFO of the Listed PLC aged 32, part of one of the youngest management teams on AIM.  He was instrumental in the restructure and turn-around of the business, reducing debt from a peak of £30m to net cash, and completing the sale under the Takeover Code in 2015.

 

During that time, he completed more than £60m in corporate transactions (across 10 separate deals), an IPO on AIM and refinanced on a number of occasions.  At an operational level Daniel has grown back-office teams from 2 to 20, completed several successful restructuring exercises and achieved significant reductions in working capital.

 

Daniel was named 'Back Office Champion of the Year' at the RDLC Awards in 2018.
